Yes, Mykonos is worth visiting for a number of reasons. This is a Greek island that everyone should explore, and we loved our time here. We first visited in 2011 and have returned several times. During our time here, we fell in love with the whitewashed buildings and charming atmosphere.
Whether you're a a couple or on a weekend getaway, this Greek island has a lot to offer. Any local will tell you what makes it special is the great food and amazing nightlife.
It's often mentioned as one of the best places to visit in major publications, such as in Conde Nast Traveler's Best Places to Go in 2024.
Mykonos is one of the most lively of the Greek Isles and its popular for its active nightlife scene. The beaches are beautiful and filled with bars and A list celebrities. You'll find world famous DJs and all night parties. During the day, the villages are charming with windmills and scenic viewpoints.

Like most things on the island, food is expensive, but its also very good. Make sure you try the louza sausage, kopanisti cheese, and melopita pie.
