Ubud is a town in central Bali. It's at the cultural heart of the island and is completely separate from the beach party scene that you'll find in Kuta. The city is famous for its arts and crafts and there are many smaller villages nearby that have galleries and artist workshops. It's a wonderful place to spend some time. The area continues to grow rapidly and it has become a popular tourist destination. As such, you'll find no shortage of hostels, hotels, and guesthouses. There are options for all budgets and travel styles. Many people enjoy staying in Jl Bisma and Jl Kejeng on the west side of town. There you'll find many homestays that are still walking distance to central Ubud.

Depa House is about a ten minute walk from the center of Ubud. It is an affordable and comfortable place to stay that is designed with Balinese style architecture. Every room is furnished with a desk and wardrobe, and offers its own private terrace that looks out on views of the surrounding area. The hostel also has wi-fi available throughout.

The hostel is about a five minute walk from the Sacred Monkey Forest and there is a shuttle that provides transportation to and from Ngurah Rai International Airport. It's about an hours drive away. Guests can also arrange any number of tours at the travel information desk. There are a variety of day trips that you can choose from.

In the immediate vicinity there are some decent restaurants that serve both Indonesian and Western cuisine. It's just a short two minute walk to a handful of good options. Free breakfast is provided by the hostel every morning.

The rooms are simple but comfortable. There are both single and double private rooms available. Each room has its own bathroom.

The home is located in the central highlands of Bali. It's about 45 minutes from Bali's International Airport near the city of Ubud, which is famous for its arts and crafts. The hostel is actually located just south of the city in the village of Padand Tegal, which is an artist's community. It's a peaceful place to stay if you want to experience nature and a unique atmosphere. It is also accessible to much of Ubud's shopping, dining and entertainment options.

The hostel has modern facilities that include hot water, fans, laundry service and more. There is a restaurant on-site and the staff can help with any tour arrangements or questions that you might have. Bicycle, car, and motorbike rentals are all available as well.
