Old Evora Hostel is one of the most popular hostels to stay at in Evora. It's located right in the historic heart of the town and is centrally located between the bus station and Central Square. It's housed in a 150 year old building and it holds on to much of its original charm. This is a nice place to base yourself while you explore the town. There are many great landmarks within walking distance and you'll really feel like you're experiencing this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The hostel is staffed by a friendly group of people. You'll find staff members that speak English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. They can help you with any travel related questions that you might have or recommend any number of restaurants or entertainment venues. They know the area well, so they can really give you an insider's perspective.

The hostel has twin private rooms with shared bathrooms as well as four, six, and eight bed dorms. There are female only, male only, and co-ed dorms available.

It is located on one of the main streets of Evora, very close to the center square, public transportation, the Tourist Office, and the central nucleus of the city where most of the important monuments are found, namely The Cathedral, the Temple of Diana, the Chapel of Bones, the University, Museums, etc., all of these monuments can be seen easily on foot from this accommodation. From the top floor and roof terrace you can see some of the main monuments and the Alentejo plain in the distance. The accommodations consist of one mixed dorm with bunk beds, one female twin room with bunk beds, and private room options. The facility has a reading room, game room, living room, and terrace where you can relax and get to know fellow travelers. There is an equipped kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals as well as many restaurants nearby, and breakfast is included with your stay.

The hostel is located in a century old building that maintains much of its original architecture and character. There are 88 beds in total that are spread across dorms and private rooms. Private rooms are twins or doubles with private bathrooms and dorms sleep four people and are split by gender.

This is a great place to base yourself during your time in Evora. It's easy to explore the quaint streets and shops during the day, and it's not far from the lively nightlife for the evenings.
