It's a desert city and it has impressive infrastructure and a unique culture. There are a handful of hostels around Dubai but it can be difficult to find a backpacker's hostel that has a traditional backpacker environment. Many hostels are actually rooms that located in apartment buildings. If you're looking for a more social setting, you may be a little disappointed.

This new hostel has a lot of amenities and is in a fairly central location. Their bunks have privacy curtains and lockers. The bathrooms are clean and modern. They have a good shared kitchen so you can cook your own meals. There's also a pool!

With comfortable beds and a nice swimming pool, you'll feel very relaxed here. They have nice bunk beds, a good communal kitchen, modern facilities, and more. You can't go wrong in this fairly new hostel.

BackPacker Hostel is a popular hostel in Dubai for backpackers and solo travellers. It's located about a five minute walk from Burjuman Station and it is convenient to most of the city's top sights and attractions. It's about a two minute walk to Dubai Museum and is just ten minutes from the popular Sheikh Zayed Road. The hostel has a variety of amenities available for guests including laundry service and luggage storage.

There are female only and male only dorms available. Each dorm has six or ten bunk beds and the rooms are kept clean and comfortable. Some dorms have attached bathrooms while others have shared bathrooms.

This is one of the larger and more social hostels in Dubai. If you're hoping to meet other travelers in a more traditional hostel setting, then this may be one of your best options.

The Domme is another hostel option for backpackers to Dubai. It's located just a few minutes from several metro stations and the city's most popular tourist attractions are easily accessible. The hostel has free wi-fi throughout its rooms and 24 hour a day security. The rooms are cleaned daily, and it is wheelchair accessible.

The staff here are friendly and welcoming. They can help you with any travel arrangements that you might need. They can also recommend restaurants and entertainment venues that are nearby.

In the surrounding area you'll find plenty of restaurants, although the hostel itself is actually about 8 kilometers from the city center. There are two rooms available that are large and brightly decorated. Dorms are split by gender and there is an eight bed female room and a twelve bed male room available. This hostel is also located in an apartment building, so it can be a bit difficult to find.

By train you can access Burj Khalifa, the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, The Creek, Gold and Spice souks. There's a balcony that offers a great view of the surrounding area as well.

The hostel has a variety of amenities for guests such as free luggage storage if you arrive early. There's an additional fee for luggage storage after you check out. They can help you organize desert safari tours and the staff can provide any travel information that you might need. There's also parking available if you have a car.

The hostel has three dorms that have comfortable bunk beds. One room is female only, one is male only, and the other is co-ed. The female and co-ed dorms sleep up to six people and the male dorm sleeps up to ten.
