Travel is a source of inspiration. Being in a new place stirs the emotions and forces the brain to ponder new concepts. So, it’s no surprise that some of our users here at Budget Your Trip have shown us some of their creativity. Sometimes when we travel, we simply refer to our trip as, “that time we went to the beach” or, “summer vacation.” However, every now and then, a trip comes along that deserves something better and bigger. It deserves a real name – a name that stands alone to let the world know that you’re going out there to find something amazing.

Located in the Nevsehir province, this popular tourist destination boasts beautiful geological formations and landscapes, providing the perfect getaway for an adventurous, curious traveler. In addition to breathtaking views, the region of Goreme (a smaller town within Nevsehir), also hosts ancient churches, with frescoes dating back to the 9th century. If you have already planned a trip to Istanbul, this could provide you and your traveling companions with a great getaway outside the hustles and bustles of beautiful, but busy Istanbul. The Traveling Savage

Keith Savage, in his own words, “had an amazing vacuum of spirit.” He realized that there was more to life than his 9 to 5 job and set out to travel. I recently had the opportunity to find out more about his plans and motivations.

In order to make it work, he and his wife saved a lot of money in order to afford to live without an income for a year. Unlike many travelers, instead of selling their house, they are keeping it. Keith will be spending one month out of every three or four to travel the world over the next two years.
