The Gate of Heaven
Known for its iconic split gate with views of Mount Agung, entry is 100,000 Rp (about $6) to enter the temple, plus 50,000 Rp for the shuttle bus to the top of the hill to get to the temple. Many tours are available to take you to the temple area, too.

Waterbom Bali
Known for its thrilling water slides and attractions, entry is around 400,000 Rp ($25) per person, or more depending on the extra options.

Snorkeling
Known for its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life, entry is around $20 to $60 for a snorkel trip depending on the location, length of the trip, and other factors. It's always possible to snorkel for free at local beaches, although quality may vary by location.

Besakih Temple
Known for its significance as the largest and holiest temple complex, entry is 60,000 Rp for adults (about $4) which includes a tour guide and transportation within in the temple complex. You will need to arrange transportation to the temple, and many tours are available.

Tanah Lot Temple
Known for its iconic location on a sea rock formation, entry is 75,000 Rp (about $5) for adults and 40,000 for children (foreigners). Cars and motorbikes are extra. Also, bring money for the nearby restaurants and shops.

Tirta Empul Temple
Known for its holy spring water and purification rituals, entry is 50,000 Rp for adults ($3) and 25,000 for children. You'll need to arrange transportation, and many tours are available.

Jatiluwih Green Land
Known for its stunning terraced rice fields and scenic landscapes, entry is 50,000 Rp for adults (about $3) and 25,000 for children. Bring money for food and the local shops, too. Plenty of guided tours are available that include transportation and other nearby destinations.

Tirta Gangga Water Palace
Known for its serene gardens and sacred springs, entry is 50,000 Rp ($3) for adults and 15,000 for children age 12 and under. You'll want to arrange transportation, and many tours are available.

Uluwatu Temple
Known for its stunning cliffside location and Kecak dance performances, entry is 30,000 Rp for adults (about $2) and 20,000 for children. Evening dance performances are 100,000 ($6) per person.

Mount Batur
Known for its breathtaking views and sunrise hikes, entry is around $20 to $40 for a guided hike with transportation. It's possible to hike the mountain without a guide, but not recommended. It's also possible to take a Jeep tour if you want the views without the physical effort.

The Bali Zoo
Known for its diverse range of animals and interactive experiences, entry is around 375,000 Rp ($22) for adults and 275,000 for children, not including optional extras.
