Sapporo is the capital and largest city on the northern island of Hokkaido, Japan. The city is famous for the Sapporo Snow Festival in early February, which is the largest event in the city. It attracts both international and domestic travelers and it is a fun time to be in Sapporo. There are also many great ski facilities and other winter activities nearby.

Untapped Hostel is a small but nice hostel located in Sapporo City. It's a cozy and welcoming place to stay and it is a good option for backpackers, students, and solo travelers. The hostel has a nice restaurant on its first floor that is popular with guests and locals alike. On the upper floors you'll find dorms and private rooms. One of the rooms has a balcony and there's a shared kitchen available that all of the guests can use.

The hostel is conveniently located near Sapporo Station. It's also close to Hokkaido University and it is near a variety of restaurants and shops.

All of the standard amenities are available through the hostel including wi-fi, security lockers, a common room, and laundry facilities. This is a safe, secure, and reliable place to stay where you can be a assured a good nights sleep.

Hokkaido Sun Guesthouse is another good option in Sapporo, Japan. It's conveniently located about ten minutes from Hokkaido University and it is just a five minute walk from Kita 24-jo Subway Station along the Namboku Link. JR Sapporo Station is also just a five minute subway ride away.

The hostel has both western style dorms with bunk beds and Japanese style dorms with thin goza mats and traditional futon bedding. The dorms sleep five or six people and there are shared bathrooms. There's also a lounge area where guests can hang out, laundry facilities, and free luggage storage. Wi-fi is available throughout the hostel.

This is a friendly and welcoming place to stay and most of the staff members speak a little English. It's a quiet and clean hostel with comfortable beds and a convenient location.

Wagayado Hale is another good option for budget travelers in Sapporo. It's located in a quiet residential area but is still next to the main station of Hokkaido. It's also just an eight minute walk from Sapporo Station.

This is a relaxing guest house that welcomes everyone. It's located in a private house and there's a nice lounge area where you can hang out with other guests. There are dorms that sleep anywhere from six to seventeen people. A female only room is available as well.

This is a social place to stay where it's not hard to meet other guests, but it's also quiet enough that you can be assured a good nights sleep. The owners are friendly and welcoming and they make sure that all of the guests are respected and feel right at home.

The closest subway station is Shiseikan Shogakko Mae Station which is less than a five minute walk away.

The hostel has a variety of different room types available. There are dorms and family style rooms to choose from. Dorms sleep seven or eight people and both female only and co-ed rooms are available.

The hostel has all of the standard amenities available including free wi-fi throughout, free luggage storage, and bicycle rental. There's also a shared kitchen and lounge area where guests can hang out. There is a snack bar available and several great dining options nearby as well.
