Sapporo is the capital and largest city on the northern island of Hokkaido, Japan. The city is famous for the Sapporo Snow Festival in early February, which is the largest event in the city. It attracts both international and domestic travelers and it is a fun time to be in Sapporo. There are also many great ski facilities and other winter activities nearby.

Untapped Hostel is a small but nice hostel located in Sapporo City. It's a cozy and welcoming place to stay and it is a good option for backpackers, students, and solo travelers. The hostel has a nice restaurant on its first floor that is popular with guests and locals alike. On the upper floors you'll find dorms and private rooms. One of the rooms has a balcony and there's a shared kitchen available that all of the guests can use.

The hostel is conveniently located near Sapporo Station. It's also close to Hokkaido University and it is near a variety of restaurants and shops.

Odori Park, in the center of the city, is just an eleven minute walk away and it's a ten minute drive to Sapporo Tokeidai Clock Tower. The closest subway station is Shiseikan Shogakko Mae Station which is less than a five minute walk away.

The hostel has a variety of different room types available. There are dorms and family style rooms to choose from. Dorms sleep seven or eight people and both female only and co-ed rooms are available.
