Alfred-Wegener Weg 5,
Hamburg
This is another youth hostel in Hamburg that is a great option for travelers who want to avoid a loud party scene but still want to stay somewhere affordable. It's located in the city center and is near the famous harbor area and Hamburg's traditional Fish Market. Also nearby you'll find many great art galleries, shops, and a fun nightlife scene.
The hostel is relatively large and can hold over 350 people. There are dorms that sleep either six or eight people and male only, female only, and co-ed rooms are all available. Every room has its own en-suite bathroom.
The hostel also has a variety of amenities available for guests. There's a shared kitchen where guests can prepare there own meals, laundry facilities., and a terrace that offers a view of the harbor.
This hostel does require a Hostelling International Members which can be paid as a surcharge on the nightly rate of the room. It's an affordable option that stays relatively quiet, despite its large size. It doesn't always have the most social atmosphere, but if you want a relaxing place to return to after a busy day exploring the city, then this is a good option.
