The Best Budget Guesthouses, Hotels, and Pensions in Kusadasi near Ephesus, Turkey

Jump to:
Kusadasi is a beach resort town on Turkey's western Aegean coast. A jumping-off point for visiting the classical ruins at nearby Ephesus. Its seafront promenade, marina, and harbor are lined with hotels and restaurants. Just offshore on Pigeon Island is a walled Byzantine castle that once guarded the town, connected to the mainland via causeway. Kusadasi is a popular package-tour destination and, as the coastal gateway to Ephesus, Turkey's busiest cruise port. Kusadasi is a great runner-up on the Aegean party scene, with the mix of Irish pubs, discos, and multilingual vendors. If you prefer to mix your Ephesus visit with nightlife and sea views then Kusadasi could be the right choice, offering some good hotels and restaurants, a surprisingly nontraditional bazaar, and two quieter old quarters. With all of these fabulous attributes, Kusadasi is a great place to visit, and, there are also some great, budget-friendly accommodations to use as a base for exploring.
