Shopping: Avon isn't exactly a shopper's destination. There aren't a ton of shopping opportunities in town, but there are enough shops around in case you need to pick up necessities or buy a gift.

The area is not very walkable, and public transit is not great here, so it might be difficult to get around without arranging your own transportation.
