Some of them are perhaps more famous than others, but they all have a special story, a unique history, and are worth visiting for the views or the architecture. So, here are the best and most famous bridges in New York City.
The Queensboro Bridge crosses the East River connecting Manhattan to Queens. It is a very recognizable bridge with its distinct design and two levels. The bridge has vehicle traffic as well as a pedestrian path. It was completed in 1909 and it remains a popular attraction with tourists today.

This popular urban walking trail is located high above the city streets on an old rail line. It's a linear public park that has been lined with plants and trees that are particularly beautiful during the spring months.
