Located right in the middle of Kitzbuhel town, surrounded by restaurants and shops, and only a 5-minute walk to the ski lift is this comfortable hostel with all the usual hostel amenities. Private rooms and dorms are available. Free breakfast is included, as is free Wi-Fi, hot showers, and more. TVs with cable and satellite in multiple languages are set up for your entertainment in the common area. A shared communal kitchen is also here for those that wish to cook their own meals. An outdoor terrace and garden area with a BBQ also makes for a nice spot to relax and socialize with fellow guests. And the ski and bike storage area is nice for those enjoying the outdoors (that's why you came, after all). Free bikes are available for exploring the town and surrounding villages.

In the winter, skiing and snowboarding are of course very popular. But in the summer, hiking, mountain biking, rafting, swimming, and even more activities are available. The friendly hostels staff can hook you up with any activity you might be interested in.

15 minutes from the town of Kitzbuhel is the town of Ellmau, at the base of the massive SKIWELT Wilder Kaiser/Brixental ski resort (which has been awarded the best ski resort in the world several times). The Alp King is a relatively new hostel situated in the middle of this town, with easy access to the ski lifts of the resort as well as nearby restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and shops. The closest ski lift is only a 3-minute walk from the hostel!

The onsite bar provides plenty of entertainment with a pool table, music, TVs, and plenty of other travelers to meet and plan your mountain adventures with. Also, theme nights are schedules, as well as pub crawls through the surrounding town. Also the friendly staff can help book tours and arrange transportation. Also nearby is a heated swimming pool with waterslides for your use, even in the winter!

Dorms are simple but modern and clean, and include lockers. A shared kitchen is available for those who wish to cook.
