Expert Advice from Local Travelers

We're asking our community members and registered users to contribute their experiences about Koblenz.

Why would you recommend Koblenz to budget travelers? Or, why not?

We found the town to be a little cheaper than other places in Germany, but it's still Europe so it's not super cheap. We used Koblenz as a starting point for some train trips down the river to the towns with small castles. The local trains are cheap and quick, and after seeing the fortress on the hill we also ate at some good low-price cafes in town.
