Go down to the water in the evening and you'll have a whole new experience. There are many companies that rent out kayaks, and there's nothing better than watching the sunset from a kayak on the water. You can take a trip in a kayak to the bioluminiscent bay for around $40. They'll lead you through the mangroves and once it's dark you'll get to experience the dinoflagelates, which are a breathtaking microorganism that make the water glitter with light. One of the best tour companies is Encantada tours. You might want to consider making reservations, although it's definitely not necessary.
