Palladini Hostel Rome

This hostel is all about a convenient location by the train station, basic affordable rooms, and nightly activities. There's an upstairs bar where guests like to hang out and there's a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. The rooms are basic but cheap and the staff work hard to keep the facilities clean. With many guests passing through, it can be difficult to stay on top of the cleaning, but the staff are friendly and helpful if you have any concerns.

The staff clean the bathrooms daily, but like any communal space, it can be hard to keep up with people constantly coming and going.

You can walk to the Colosseum or the Trevi Fountain in about twenty minutes, and the Spanish Steps are about 25 minutes away on foot. If you're walking around late at night, you'll probably feel more comfortable if you take a friend with you.

Staff

The staff here are really great and do there best to keep things clean and running smoothly. Although the facilities are a bit dated, they're available to address any concerns and will happily help you with any problems you may have. They also organize regular activities so guests can meet each other.

Heads Up

Despite a hard working cleaning staff, the hostel seems to struggle with staying clean. Female travelers have also complained that they don't feel comfortable walking alone in the surrounding neighborhood.
