Home Youth Hostel Valencia by Feetup Hostels
Home Youth Hostel in Valencia is run by the Feetup Hostels chain. It's a homey hostel with a lot of personality that guests love. The hostel is social and relaxed, but not a party hostel so you can enjoy a good night's sleep. It's centrally located near the impressive central market, and is accessible to anything you'd want to see and do in the city.
Guests love that there are no bunk beds. All of the dorms have single beds that are comfortable and make it easy to sleep. Also make sure you check out the walking tours, which are informative and fun.
The Facilities
Dorms
Guests love the colorfully decorated dorm rooms that all have single beds (no bunk beds!). Each dorm room has it's own mural that bring in lots of personality and character. Guests are also given security lockers and power outlets where they can charge their electronics. Many rooms even have doors that open to the outside so you can let in some fresh air and natural light if you'd like.
The rooms sleep just three or four people, so they typically stay quiet and relaxed. There are both female only and co-ed rooms to choose from as well.
Private Rooms
If you want a little space to yourself, check out one of the twin rooms. The rooms have two twin beds. They're a bit small, but they offer privacy for guests who don't want to share their personal space.
Bathrooms
All of the rooms use shared bathrooms. They're kept very clean and they're reliable with hot water and plenty of facilities to share among guests.
Common Areas
You can hang out in the hostel's common area, which has soft sofas and a television. There's also a shared kitchen available to guests where you can prepare your own meals. Guests enjoy the family style dinner and sangria nights in the common area during the evenings, and catch up with friends and family back home with the free Wi-Fi during the days.

What's Nearby?
This hostel's central location really can't be beat. It's located right by the impressive Mercado Central and is very close to La Lonja de la Seda. It's the perfect base for exploring the city's old town, and you can wander around and find plenty of places to shop, grab a drink, or a bite to eat.
Nearby Transportation
This hostel is conveniently located just a ten minute walk from Valencia Nord Train Station. It's also less than half an hour on foot from Joaquin Sorolla Station. Buses are available if you're not up for the walk. If you're flying into Valencia, you can take the metro to Xativa Station and from there it's a ten minute walk.
Activities
The best way to meet other guests is to join in on the free nightly dinner. These family style dinners are fun, relaxed, and social, and you're guaranteed to leave with a few new friends.
During the day there are several walking tours that are offered through the hostel. It's a great way to get to know the city. They're outsourced to a tour company and you'll likely meet guests from other hostels as well. It's a fun way to learn about the area.
Amenities
This hostel has the standard amenities of free Wi-Fi, travel information, a book exchange, and plug adaptors. The laundry facilities are a nice touch and bike rental makes exploring the city easy and fast.
Staff
The staff here are very professional and can help you with any questions you may have. They have travel information and can sign you up for a walking tour if you'd like. It's a very welcoming place and the staff keep the atmosphere nice and open.
Heads Up
Some guests feel the rooms are a bit small and can get noisy. Others feel the facilities could be cleaner and updated.
