Cambodia Tourist Information
Cambodia is a beautiful country squeezed between Vietnam and Thailand. It has a tragic history, but has grown in popularity among travelers in the last decade. The most famous sight in Cambodia is Angkor Wat, in the town of Siem Reap. Many people cross over from Thailand for a few days to visit Angkor and the go directly back to Thailand. But Cambodia has so much more to offer. It is a popular destination for bicycle tours because the landscape is beautiful and relatively flat. Their are beaches that are far less touristy than the nearby Thailand, the most popular being at Sihanoukville. Phnom Penh is a vibrant capital city with a lot of history, many temples, and a very welcoming population. If you can, try to time your trip so that you can go to a festival, which the city has many of.

Spend Time in Cambodia
Cambodia is an absolutely wonderful country to visit. The people are friendly and welcoming, the food is amazing, and by Southeast Asian standards, parts of the country still feel very undiscovered. It's very unfortunate that so many backpackers breeze in and out of Cambodia only visiting Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. There is so much more to this country and it absolutely deserves more of your time. If you've gotten a little jaded of the backpacker scene around Southeast Asia, head to Cambodia and find a rural small town to escape it all. You really want regret the experience you have there.
