Hostel Van Gogh
Hostel Van Gogh is a comfortable hostel located right in the Museum District of Amsterdam. It's a great place to base yourself, particularly if you're interested in visiting the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Art Museum.

The best way to visit some of the other popular sights around Amsterdam is to hop on a tram. You can head to Dam Square or the Royal Palace and be there in about 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can explore like a local and rent a bike.
If you're arriving at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol you can take bus 197 to Museumplein. It's about a half hour ride and then just a couple minutes walk to the hostel.

This hostel has the standard amenities of Wi-Fi access, luggage storage, travel information, and vending machines. There's also an elevator to help you reach your room with heavy luggage. A filling buffet breakfast is also served every morning for a small price.
