BBK Bilbao Good Hostel
BBK Bilbao Good Hostel is a bit different from many of the hostel's you'll find in Spain. There's an eclectic mix of people staying here in basic but comfortable rooms. The prices are good but the location is a bit removed from the center of the city. This is a great option for larger groups as they have the space and amenities a group might require.
The Facilities
Dorms
This hostel has dorms that sleep either 4, 6, 8, or 10 people in co-ed or female only rooms. The rooms are clean and generally comfortable with basic beds and security lockers for your belongings. All of the rooms have keycard access and bed linens are provided free of charge.
Private Rooms
Twin and triple private rooms are also available for guests who want a little space to themselves. The rooms offer basic furnishings, and like the rest of the hostel are very clean and reliable.
Bathrooms
Rooms with either shared or ensuite bathrooms are available. The lights are on motion detectors. They also have industrial level hand dryers, which some guests find annoying in the middle of the night. The showers are also on timers, which is frustrating if you're hoping to take a longer shower. Hot water is also limited to certain hours.
Common Areas
Guests can take advantage of the hostel's computer room and game room if they're hoping to catch up with friends back home or relax in a comfortable setting. There's also three outdoor terraces where you can take in the views of the river and soak up some sun.

This hostel is located by the Ibaizabal River in the area of Bolueta. It's a bit outside of the city center, but it's very close to the metro, which makes everything you need accessible within the city. The hostel also has a grocery store very close by, which is convenient if you're planning to cook any of your own meals.
Nearby Transportation
This hostel is just a five minutes walk from Bolueta Metro Station, which will take you to the Old Town in just three stops. The city center is also just four stops away and the Guggenheim Museum is five stops away. There are also many buses that pass close by the hostel.
The airport is about a 15 minute ride away by taxi and Atxuri Train Station is about a 15 minute walk away.
Amenities
This hostel has some great amenities that make it a good place to regroup if you've been on the road awhile. There's laundry available, a filling and complimentary breakfast served every morning, and parking available if you need it. There's also a game room with foosball tables, board games, and movies you can watch. There's also a very basic kitchen that guests can use.
Staff
The staff here are professional and responsive if you have any complaints. They do a great job balancing the eclectic group of people that stays here and making sure everyone is comfortable during their stay.
Heads Up
This hostel is a bit outside of the city center, but is connected by metro. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable, but the hand dryers and bathroom lights can make sleeping difficult at night. The showers are also on timers, which some guests don't like.
