The area has a subtropical climate with a humid monsoon season. When planning your trip, remember that the rainy season is from spring to early winter with the heaviest rainfall from mid-June to early July. In July, Pai is generally around the same temperature as Wuhu. Daily temperatures in Pai average around 29°C (85°F), and Wuhu fluctuates around 28°C (83°F).

It's quite rainy in Wuhu. Pai receives a lot of rain in the summer. Pai usually gets more rain in July than Wuhu. Pai gets 211 mm (8.3 in) of rain, while Wuhu receives 174 mm (6.9 in) of rain this time of the year.

Should I visit Pai or Wuhu in the Autumn?

Both Wuhu and Pai are popular destinations to visit in the autumn with plenty of activities. The warm climate attracts visitors to Pai throughout the year.

Pai is much warmer than Wuhu in the autumn. The daily temperature in Pai averages around 29°C (84°F) in October, and Wuhu fluctuates around 17°C (63°F).
