Who's staying here?
This is a social hostel with great common areas and social activities, but it's not a party hard hostel. It's a great place to solo travelers, couples, backpackers, or anyone who wants to meet other travelers. Small groups are welcome, but they strictly prohibit any groups that are larger than 8 people. They also strictly prohibit hen or stag parties.

Prime Backpackers Angel
Prime Backpackers Hostel Angel offers guests great common spaces including a comfortable lounge and a very impressive kitchen. They organize a variety of events for guests like family style dinners, game nights, and movie nights. There's a fun social vibe here, but it's not a hard core party hostel, so many guests love the fun and inclusive atmosphere. The staff are also friendly and involved in all of the activities, so you'll leave feeling like a one of the family.
The Facilities
Dorms
Dorms sleep between 6 and 12 people (with everything in between available). There are both mixed and female only rooms to choose from. The rooms use shared bathrooms and there are security lockers where you can store your belongings.
Private Rooms
In addition to the dorms, this hostel has a wide range of private rooms to choose from. There are doubles and twin rooms for couples or friends as well as triple and 4 bed rooms (with 2 sets of bunk beds) for friends that are traveling together. The private rooms also use shared bathrooms and they provide simple furnishings in the rooms.
Bathrooms
Almost all of the rooms use shared bathrooms. Like the rest of the hostel, they're clean and reliable with hot water and good water pressure.
Common Areas
This hostel has a large and impressive kitchen that guests often use to prepare their own meals. It's a social area with a large table and plenty of seating. Group dinners are often held here.
There's also a comfortable lounge with comfortable sofas, Wi-Fi, and games that guests can enjoy.

What's Nearby?
This hostel is located in the lively neighborhood of Angel, in the Islington borough. It's right on the edge of the city center so it's easy to explore the nearby attractions or head into the more well known parts of the city.
If you're in town to experience London's nightlife, you'll appreciate that the hostel is just a 15 minute walk from Upper Street and
Shoreditch, which has many great bars and restaurants.
Nearby Transportation
This hostel is well connected to all of London. It's right by the Angel tube station, which is on the Bank branch of the Northern line, between Old Street and King's Cross St. Pancras stations.
Activities
This hostel offers many great events for guests that encourage socializing and getting to know each other. There are group dinners, game nights, and movie nights. There's no bar here, but guests can bring their own drinks into the hostel, so it's not uncommon for guests to enjoy a fun night in.
Amenities
This hostel has some excellent amenities for guests, most notably the large kitchen that guests use to cook meals. There's also the standard amenities available including luggage storage, wi-fi, laundry, security lockers, and travel information.
Staff
The staff here are great and guests often get to know staff members by name during their stay. There's a real family atmosphere here and the staff organize all kinds of fun activities that get people hanging out and socializing.
Heads Up
Guests love this hostel and have very few things to complain about here. Some guests say that the rooms can get a bit noisy because its an old building with thin walls. Overall, this is an excellently reviewed hostel.
