The Facilities

This hostel has dorms with three, four, or six beds each. They're basic rooms with bunk beds and firm mattresses. The furnishings are simple and the rooms themselves are a bit small, but most people hang out in the common areas and use the rooms only when they're sleeping. The air conditioning is pretty reliable and keeps the rooms cool at night, and the rooms are kept clean.
Private Rooms
Private Room $42.74
If you're traveling with a friend or as a couple, the twin rooms are a good option if you want a bit of privacy. They're also relatively basic, but you have a little space to yourself. Private rooms also use the shared bathrooms.
This hostel has shared bathrooms for the guests. They're kept clean and the showers are good with reliable hot water. They can get a bit crowded during peak times, but if you plan around this it won't be an inconvenience. Hair dryers are available, too.
Common Areas
The most popular place to hang out at this hostel is the rooftop terrace. It's the perfect spot to chill and enjoy the Mediterranean climate. The furnishings have a rustic vibe and many guests hang out here chatting after a busy day. There's a bit of shade and plenty of places to sit. There's also a few tables and some plants.

Another popular hangout spot is the large basement area. Here you'll find a pool table, television, and places to relax. You can watch Netflix, play a video game or just chill and play a board game with other guests.

Guests can also enjoy the shared kitchen, which has the basic supplies you might need to prepare a meal. This area is often very social during meal times.

The Location

The Sants and Montjuic neighborhoods sit to the south of the city center, and have easy access to everywhere in Barcelona via the Metro system. The Sants area is more residential, but still has plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. Montjuic is a scenic hill overlooking the city, and offers a more quiet area that still has terrific access to all of the best sights in town.
What's Nearby?
This hostel is in a different part of town from many hostels in Barcelona. It's just a 20 minute walk from Barcelona's Camp Nou Stadium, Montjuic and Plaza Espana. Montjuic is Barcelona's largest mountainous park and is well worth a visit. If you want to hit up some of the other tourist destinations you can easily hop on the metro and be in the Gothic Quarter in about 25 minutes.

Because of this hostel's location, you'll likely use the metro system a lot. The closest station is Badal, which is just a couple minutes' walk away. This station is on Line 5. The hostel is also just a ten minute walk from the airport bus stop where you can catch a bus to El Prat Airport (7.5 miles away). The main train station, Sants Station, is just a 15 minute walk away as well.

This hostel is all about the activities, most of which center around drinking. The staff keep things light and fun and there always seems to be something going on.
