Yellow Nest Hostel offers a wide range of dorms that sleep 2, 4, 8, or 10 people. The rooms are air conditioned and they're furnished with simple furnishings. Make sure you ask the staff to turn on the AC when you arrive though, because it's usually turned off by default. The bunk beds are basic metal frames and the mattresses are comfortable. Each room has a shared plug where guests can take turns charges their devices. Guests also get their own security locker, but bring your own lock.

The rooms stay quiet at night in part because the hostel is located in a quiet neighborhood where it's easy to sleep. You can reserve any of the rooms as a private room for your whole party if you'd like.

Common Areas

This hostel's location is perfect if you're planning to attend a FC Barcelona match. It's just a three minute walk from Camp Nou stadium. The surrounding neighborhood, Les Corts, has a local vibe with a few great bakeries and markets where you can try some local specialties. The neighborhood gets quiet at night, so it's perfect for a good night's sleep. Despite being a bit removed from many of the main tourist attractions, it's easy to hop on the metro and be at places like Sagrada Familia or Plaza Catalunya in about twenty minutes.

Nearby Transportation

Yellow Nest Hostel is conveniently located near several metro stations. The Badal Metro Station is about a 5 minute walk away. From there you can catch Line 5 to Sant-Estacio and La Sagrada Familia. Collblanc metro station is just a few minutes walk away as well. This connects to Line 9, which goes to the airport. Sants Train Station is about a 15 minute walk away if you're arriving by train.

Activities

As a social hostel, they offer lots of activities for guests. They organize regular pub crawls to some of the city's best clubs. They hostel group dinners (sometimes free, sometimes paid), and there are frequent movie nights. It's not uncommon to find guests hanging out and playing impromptu drinking games or taking a dance lesson.
