Nearby Tegelberg mountain has a ski resort, a panoramic cable car, and an alpine slide- all of which make for a great day of adventure. The town of Fussen is worth exploration, and, from here, you can easily escape from the crowds into a landscape of gentle hiking trails and Alpine vistas.
Holloko
Located in northern Hungary, Holloko is a preserved ethnographic village with a castle and traditional houses which date from the 13th century. The village, castle ruins, and the surrounding area are today designated as an UNESCO World Heritage Site, situated in a stunning valley of the Cserhat Mountains, surrounded by low peaks.
