Barcelona
Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is on the Mediterranean coast. The city has plenty of unique restaurants, shops, and churches, most in easily walkable neighborhoods. Be sure and check out Barri Gòtic, and the Harbour Cable Car. See the famous Gaudi architecture at Parc Güell and Sagrada FamÃlia. Once you're tired of walking, you can take the metro which conveniently covers most of the city.
