Germany
With a vast range of regions to visit, Germany is a country that’s filled with something for everybody and home to many potential adventures. If you enjoy modern, vibrant city breaks then you will love spending time in Berlin, a capital city with a seemingly endless list of things to see and do, including cultural and historical sites like the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Wall Museum, East Side Gallery, Museum Island and Berliner Dom. Or head to Bavaria for a countryside adventure with rural villages, mountain climbing in the stunning Alps and breathtaking scenery. Czech Republic
You can travel from Munich to Prague by high-speed train – an adventure in itself – and explore the stunning capital city of the Czech Republic. The medieval streets are perfect for exploring during the day and there are always many hidden gems to be found. The city is home to several amazing restaurants and bars where you can relax with a hearty traditional Czech meals and a glass of one of the best lagers in the world. Hungary
From Prague, you can travel to Hungary by air, bus or train. The capital city, Budapest is a top choice for many tourists and there’s plenty of unique things to do, including soaking and relaxing in the thermal springs that are open all-year round and a particularly fun experience during the colder months. Venture out of the city to continue your adventure – Memento Park, The Liberty Monument, Aquincum are must-visits and if you head into the countryside, you can enjoy activities like horseback riding, hiking and lake cruises.
Slovakia
Slovakia might not be as popular as some of the other destinations, but it certainly has the makings of a great adventure. No trip here is complete without a visit to Spis Castle – the largest fortified castle in Central Europe dating back to the 12th century, where you can take in the stunning views. Wine-lovers will love wine tasting in the Modra Vineyards and if you love animals, be sure to pay a visit to Bojnice Zoo, which is located near a medieval castle.
Italy
If you’re looking for an adventure with plenty of romance, Italy is the perfect destination. Filled with diverse and vibrant countries there’s always something memorable to do, whether you’re soaking up the art and history at the Vatican City, visiting iconic sites like the Vatican in Rome while eating the best Gelato in Italy, or cruising along the canals of Venice in a gondola.
